GSLV-D3 FAILURE

Failure of third stage of GSLV-D3 which is a cryogenic upper stage of of geosynchronous launch vehicle is a serious setback to ISRO'S  indegenisation programme of critical technologies. ISRO always boldly faced such setbacks and come out of it successfully in  the past.This kind of failure are not uncommon in cutting edge technologies.However,failure is failure and ISRO has a robust mechanism to analyse threadbare such failures and come out with innovative solutions.We are looking for the same.best of luck ISRO.

    I Agree setbacks are part of the learning curve.
    But I fail to understand why they have to put a costly multi crore communication satellite in the first GSLV D3 flight? Surely I cannot comprehend that decision!!
