ಇಂಗ್ಲೀಷನಲ್ಲಿ' ಸ್ಕಾಂ' ಅಂದರೆ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಗರಣ ಎಂಬ ಅರ್ಥ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಂತೆ.ಹತ್ತಾರು ಜನರು ಒಟ್ಟು ಸೇರಿ [ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿ ಗಳಿರಬಹುದು,ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಲಿರಬಹುದು ಅಥವಾ ಉದ್ಯಮಿ ಆಗಿರಬಹುದು  ] ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸೊತ್ತನ್ನು ಲೂಟಿಮಾಡಿ ಸರಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ  ಅಥವಾ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ  ಮೋಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಘನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ 'ಹಗರಣ' ಎಂಬ ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ  ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.ಹಗರಣಗಳು ನಂಮತಹ  ಜನರಿಗೆ ದಿನನಿತ್ಯ ಕುಳಿತು ಹರಟೆ ಹೊಡೆಯಲು ಒಂದು ವಿಷಯವಾದರೆ ,ಈ ಮಹಾನ್ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಇದೊಂದು ವ್ಯವಹಾರ ವಾಗಿದ್ದು ತಮ್ಮ ಹತ್ತು ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಆಗುವಷ್ಟು ಹಣ ಮಾಡುವ ಒಂದು ಸದವಾಕಾಶ.
ಇತ್ತೀ ಚಿಗೆ  ಇದೊಂದು ಮಾಮೂಲಿ ವಿಷಯ ವಾಗಿದೆ.ಭೋಫೋರ್ಸ್ ನಿಂದ  ಸುರುವಾದ ಹಗರರಣಗಳ [ ಬರೇ ೬೪ ಕೋಟಿ] ಒಂದು ಅದ್ಯಾಯವು ದಿನದಿಂದ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಳೆದು ಈಗ commonwealth ಹಗರಣ [ಕೇವಲ ೭೦೦೦೦ ಕೋಟಿ] 2G  ಹಗರಣದ [ಅಂದರೆ ೧,೭೬೦೦೦ ಕೋಟಿ] ಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ತಲುಪಿದೆ ಅಂದರೆ ,ಇಂತಹ ಹಗರಣದ ಪಿತಾಮಹಾರಾದ ರಾಜೀವ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ನರಸಿಂಹ ರಾಯರು  ಸ್ವರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತು ನಗುತ್ತಿರಬೇಕು .ಹರ್ಷದ್ ಮೆಹತ  ತಾನೆಸ್ಟು ಮೂರ್ಖ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರಬಹುದು.ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಗರಣಕ್ಕು ಹಾಗೂ ಟೆಲಿಕಾಂ ಗೂ ಏನೋ ಒಂದು ಸಮ್ಹಂದ ಇದೆ .ಮಾನ್ಯ ಸುಕರಾಮ್ ಅವರಿಂದ ಸುರುವಾದ ಈ ಹಗರಣ [ಕೇವಲ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಕೋಟಿ] ಇಂದು ೧೭೬೦೦೦ ಕೋಟಿ ತಲುಪಿ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ತೆಲೆಪೋನ್ ಹೆಮ್ಮರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದಿದೆ .ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಳುವ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳ ಈ ಘನ ಕಾರ್ಯ ದಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮದೇಶವು ಲಂಚದ ರೇಟಿಂಗ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ  ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಲ್ಲೇ ೧೮೪ ಸ್ಥಾನ ತಲುಪಿದೆ ಎಂದರೆ ನಾವು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ಪಡಬೇಕು.ಸದ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ನಾವು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಅನ್ನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ .
ನಾವು ಇಂತಹ ಘನ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದು ವರಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ನಾವು ಮುಂದುವರಿದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಎಂಬುದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯಾರು ಅನುಮಾನ ಪಡಬಾರದು.
ನಮ್ಮದೇಶದ ದೇಶಪ್ರೇಮಿ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದವರು ಸಹಾ  ಹಗರಣದ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾವೇನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ದೇಶದ ಮೊಟ್ಟಮೊದಲ ದೇಶಪ್ರೇಮಿ ಸರಕಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹಗರಣಗಳು ಒಂದೇ, ಎರಡೇ  ? ಇವರು  ಹಿಂದೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನಾಳಿದ ಪಕ್ಷ ೬೦ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡ ಲಾಗದಿದ್ದನ್ನು  ಇವರು ಕೇವಲ ಎರಡೇ  ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ  ಮಾಡಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಗಣಿ,ಭೂಮಿ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ    ಧಾರೆ ಎರದು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ,ಆಳುವವರು ಹೇಗೆಲ್ಲ ನುಂಗ  ಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಬೇರೆಯವರಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬೇರೆ ಪಕ್ಷ ದವರು ಕೈ ಕೈ ಹಿಸುಕಿಕ್ಕೊಂದು ಹಣೆಗೆ ಬಡಿದು ಕೊಳ್ಳುತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ಇವರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಹತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಉದ್ದಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಭವಿಶ್ಯ  ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಾವು ಚಿಂತೆ ಪಡಬೇಕು.ಇನ್ನು ಹತ್ತು ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಋಷ್ಯಮೂಕ ಪರ್ವತ ನೆಲಸಮ ವಾಗುತ್ತೆ .ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಘಟ್ಟ ನಿರ್ನಾಮ ವಾಗಬಹುದು  .ಮಲೆನಾಡು ನೆಲನಾಡು ಆಗಬಹುದು.
ಇವೆಲ್ಲದರ  ನಡುವೆ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಪ್ರಜೆ ತನಗೇನು ಸಂಭಂದ ವಿಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ತಮಾಷೆ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ.ಪಾಪ! ವೋಟು ಕೊಟ್ಟವರೆಲ್ಲ ಹೀಗಾದರೆ ಅವನಾದರೂ ಏನು ಮಾಡಿಯಾನು ?
ಸತ್ಯ ವಂತರಿಗಿದು ಕಾಲವಲ್ಲ
ಅಸತ್ಯ ವಂತ ರಿಗಿದು ಸುಭಿಕ್ಷ ಕಾಲ  ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ ಪುರಂದರ ದಾಸರ ನುಡಿ ಇಂದು  ನಾವು ನೆನಪಿಸ ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

ರಾಜಕಾರಿಣಿಗಳ ನಡುಗಿಸಿದ  ರಾವುತನವನು  

ಚುನಾವಣೆಗೆ ತಂದನವ  ಹೊಸ ಸೆನ್ಸೇಷನ್

ಚುನಾವಣೆಸಂಹಿತೆಗೆ  ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಒಯ್ಲೇಷನ್

ಆದನವ  ರಾಜಕಾರಿಣಿಯ ಬೆಂಬಿಡದ  ಅಲ್ಸೇಷನ್

ಅವನೇ ನಾವೀಗ  ಮರೆತ ನಮ್ಮ  ಶೇಷನ್ !

Why many professionals taking to criminality ?

Now days it is very sad to know , more and more educated young  highly paid professionals becoming criminals of the worst kind.Now a days why these educated middle class people are taking to criminality ,especially techies:there is serious need to  ponder over.I strongly believe that there is serious conflict between  their upbringing and their family values with present day life style .I have tried  to highlight  some the problems below.
1.Easy access to money and sudden richness consequent greed to become more rich-Indian middle class has never even dreamt that with a modest education they can become millionaires with in a matter of one decade.The kind of money one gets in the  early stages of  his career ,which probably they are incapable of  handling  makes them to lead a extravagant life style devoid of any ethics.Money has over taken all other values.There is no commitment to either job,organisation for which they work.

2.Family values are shrinking and  slowly, disappearing-About ten years back one can not even imagine in Indian society unmarried men and women staying together,which now a days has become common feature  in cities.Dating and  having sex before marrige is no more a taboo. This is  a very wrong imitation of western values which is directly in conflict with their upbringing and in my opinion has certainly created a unhealthy society.

3.To day majority of the young couple do not want to  live with, in-laws / parents.Majority of the cases the first question girl side  will ask is, whether you have aged parents.If so he will not be able to find a suitable bride.Even if they marry, with in a matter of  an year or so it is very likely that they will walk out of their family or it will result in a divorce.There are cases where husband and in laws were  put behind bars based on the complaint of educated BAHU, even though it was  not  a dowry case-thanks  to PREVENTION OF DOWRY LAW.
4.Absolutely unrealistic life style.Many young  professionals  follow a life style hither too unknown to our family set up.
I may be called old fashioned person,but our values are time tested and whoever disowns it will doing so at his own peril.We see lot of young people have all sorts psychosomatic deceases at very early age.They have become very arrogant,career oriented professionals ,whose main aim  is to go up in the ladder at any cost.

This has to change if we are to build healthy society.Let us not copy western values blindly.We should copy them for their work ethics,honesty,integrity in life,certainly  not their life style and family values .

ದೇರ್ ನಗರಿಯೊಲ್ಲೊಂದು ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಕಿಡಿ

ನೋಡಿ  ಪ್ರಜೆ ಹೆದರಿ  ಓಡಿದ ಕೊತ್ವಾಲನ ಬಳಿ

ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಆರಿಸಲು ಕೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಜೆ

"ಸ್ವಲ್ಪತಡಿ" ಹೇಳಿದ ಕೊತ್ವಾಲ, ಹೋದ  ಗ್ರಾಮಾದಿಕಾರಿಯ ಬಳಿ

ಗ್ರಾಮಾದಿಕಾರಿ ವಿಷಯ  ತಿಳಿಸಿದ ಮುಖ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗೆ,

ಮಹಾಮಂತ್ರಿ  ಹೋದ ರಾಜನ ಬಳಿ ಆಮೆಯ ನಡಿಗೆಯಲಿ

ರಾಜ ಗಾಢನಿದ್ರೆಯಲಿದ್ದ  ತನ್ನ ಪಾಂಡಿತ್ಯದ ಗುಂಗಿನಲಿ

 ರಾಜನ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದ  "ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹತ್ತಿದೆಯೆಂದು,"

ಪ್ರಭೋ  ಆರಿಸಲು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿರುವೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಗೆಂದು

"ದೇರ್ ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಹತ್ತಿತು ಬೆಂಕಿ ಕಾರಣವ ನೀಡಿ "ಎಂದ ರಾಜ

" ಕಾರಣವ ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ನೀಡೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಆರಿಸಲೆಂದ  "ರಾಜ

 "ಹತ್ತಿದೆ ಬೆಂಕಿ ರಾಜಮಹಲಿಗೂ ಮಹಾಪ್ರಭೋ' ಅರುಹಿದ ಮಂತ್ರಿ

"ಅದು ಸುಡಲು  ತಮ್ಮ  ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಗಾಗಿ  ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ" ಎಂದ ನಮ್ರತೆಯಿಂದ 

 ನೀಡಿರುವೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಆರಿಸಿ ಎಂದ  ರಾಜ ಗಾಭರಿಯಿಂದ  

ಕುಳಿತನವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಹತ್ತಿದ  ಕಾರಣವ ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಚಿಂತೆಯಿಂದ

ಅಷ್ಟರಲಿ ದಳ್ಳುರಿಯು ನಗರವ ನುಂಗಿ ಮಾರಣ ಹೋಮ ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು

Pakistan's survival depends on two weapons

Pakistan has no oil wells or any precious natural resource to attract Americans. But,Pakistani government knows very well that if they have to get western aid and support, particularly from USA they have to have a nuisance value of which  all western super powers are worried of.They have two major weapons  namely, Nuclear weapon and state sponsored terrorism.Pakistan has sheltered all major terrorist groups that can be effectively used either against India,which is their sworn enemy, or selectively used against  USA if need be.Presently, they are able to keep USA on tenter hooks by shielding most wanted terrorists like BIN LADEN and Mulla Omer.As long as these two are kept safe some where in the hills of wazirastan they can continue to derive all benefits from USA.

Pakistan knows very well   that USA will dump them the moment they hand over these two famous terrorists to USA.Therefore,they have to  play the drama of being active partners to USA in fighting global terrorism.Pakistan is very well  aware that USA has no permanent friends, they only have permanent interest.If one goes by the history of the fate of  their earlier friends like SHAH OF IRAN,no body will take chances with them.Pakistan now has become proverbial BHASMASHURA IN INDIAN MYTHOLOGY to all the western  powers.

However,one good thing USA has done to all other nations ,especially to India ,to keep Pakistan busy  fighting terrorists in their own home soil.This strategy may ultimately help USA to split Pakistan and Afghanistan.Whether this will really work in the long run one has to wait and see.

India as usual goes to Pakistan with all the proofs of terrorism on Indian soil actively supported by Pakistani establishment,which will promptly denied by Pakistan.After repeated snubbing from Pakistan we still believe that Pakistan is very serious about eliminating terror.Our foreign minister,who is oxford educated gentleman ,who is in his seventies [sometimes finds it difficult to memorise the name of our Home secretary and Pakistan foreign minister,which Burka Dutt has to prompt in her interview ]can hardly match the vitriolic  rebuttal  of Pakistan foreign minister.He can only snub our Home Secretary who has unwittingly   told the truth  of Headly confession on involvement of Pakistani establishment in terrorist activity in  India,in particular 26/11,  but not the Pakistani establishment.We Indians are good at living on false hopes,where as Pakistan is able to market terrorism for its own advantage.GOD SAVE US!
