IPL-THAROOR-MODI-AND THE WHOLE MESS

When you come across Mr  Shashi Tharoor one can  not imagine that such  a person can  be either be dishonest or uncultured. I  strongly believe he is not,and unfortunately he has entered politics where he can not fit in.He is a brilliant speaker,  writer and a thinker. If you hear him, you will do nothing but appreciate him.If Sunanda Pusker was attracted  towards him there is nothing  great about it ,he has such a charismatic personality. Our present day boring politicians naturally did not like his wits and wisdom. They were gunning for him and Lalit Modi unwittingly provided the ammunition for them.

How a brilliant career of an  intellectual can  come to an end by one mistake he has unwittingly committed. If Lalith Modi goes,  few people may cry who had shared ill gotten money if any, with him.He was not doing any national duty or helping sports in the country. He has made few people who are already rich, made them stinking rich. They would any way take this money out of the country  and store it in tax heavens . May be IPL -GATE may be bigger than Harshad mehta scandal. It will soon be  forgotten once the ill gotten wealth is shared with people in powerful position.
Only two Brilliant  people  in their own right will be out of JOB  i.e Mr Shashi Tharoor and  Mr Lalith Modi.

Moral of the story  of Lalith modi-DO NOT THROW STONES WHEN YOU Live IN GLASS HOUSES.
Moral  story of Shashi Tharoor : Hundred good qualities are required to reach the top and one mistake /weakness can bring you down from where you have started.

We thought that IPL mess is a small tremor which we thought will eventually die down. Now it appears it is not just a tremor but a earth quake which may engulf many more. With this controversy  IPL finals  is going to be a very subdued affair.

  1. I doubt if the reason for sacking Modi is corruption and money mismanagement. It is basically because not enough was shared. And the crab mentality clearly has played its part here.

  2. Mr.Tharoor as potrayed by you is not as naive, lost in the woods kinda guy. It is hard to believe that Tharoor is innocent when his alleged girl friend lands up with a huge pie in one of the franchises. Especially considering the profile of the folks owning the current teams in IPL it is definately suspicious an unknown name till date suddenly owns a part of a big team. There is definately more than what meets the eye.

It was stupid on part of Tharoor to have acted the way he has though its not a surprize. He has always tried to live this "poster boy of new generation" kinda image. He is amatuerish tweets on everything from as important as external affairs, internal security to bollywood filmstars shows his craving for popularity and larger than life image. You are in a important position at the central govt and there are certain responsibilities to it. Yes you are right he is an "intellectual" and not a politician.

Well as far as Modi goes, he too tried to live a larger than life kinda image. Yes he might be regretting the decision now, but surely at the point he thought he would get away with anything. It is a classic case of "Dalmiya Syndrome". When you are all drunk in power and popularity you tend to make stupid decisions. There is a reason why we have a powerful politicians in all state and national cricket boards. So never underestimate an "Indian babu" and "Desi Politician".

Stephenites, US return polticians and to some extent even powerful businessmen should be weiry of them!!!!

I'd say, damn these two guys...IPL is fantastic and here to stay...Just hoping they find better dancers as in this season they were pathetic :))

  3. Hi Hatwar,I also read that Tharoor was a brilliant and widely accepted personality in the otside world.Alas, when he works in India he becomes Indianised and all selfish thinking gets in.Only thig is he could not coverup his deeds/misdeeds like other seasoned politicians
